Roles Available: Intermediate to Senior Overhead Lines Engineers 
Locations: Christchurch, New Zealand, or Nottingham, United Kingdom 
Relocation & Sponsorship: Opportunities available for those willing to relocate. Groundline Engineering offers sponsorship for eligible candidates from New Zealand to the UK and supports immigration for qualified professionals from Europe, the UK, or elsewhere to either start in our UK office or come directly to New Zealand.

About the Role:
As a Senior Overhead Lines Engineer at Groundline Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in the technical development and project delivery within our Overhead Lines Team. Your contributions will directly influence the growth of our company culture and our standing as industry leaders. Or if you are not at this level yet you will be heavily involved in the design of overhead lines and structures, mentored and supported by a Senior or Principal Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional technical solutions that reinforce the Groundline brand.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
- Manage projects efficiently, ensuring high-quality outputs within budget and time constraints.
- Engage directly with clients, maintaining strong relationships and exploring new business opportunities.
- Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and excellence across all operations.

We're Looking for Someone With:
- A degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical preferred) and relevant design management experience.
- Expertise in line, foundation, and structure design for towers and poles using PLS-CADD, Tower & Pole
- A natural leader with a positive, collaborative spirit, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage effectively at all levels and across diverse teams.
- A dedication to safety, environmental stewardship, and quality in all aspects of their work.
